Company History
After gaining outstanding experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Amin Hirani visualized a group of companies unified under the name of Hiranis under which Hirani Pharmaceuticals (Pvt.) Ltd. falls today. Although, a newcomer in the market, today, Hiranis Pharmaceuticals (Pvt.) Ltd. is one of the fastest growing companies in the Pakistani pharmaceutical industry and is realized by doctors as "the professionals who serve with pleasure!"
The foundation of the company was laid in late September 2009 when Amin Hirani envisioned a place for people "where care is pleasure" that was later undertaken as the company's slogan.
Amin Hirani started off his career in the pharmaceutical industry with a retail pharmacy, coined Platinum Medical Store, in 1970 in Hyderabad. The pharmacist became a leading whole seller and progressed as one of the leading distributors in 1976. Starting with distributing for multinational companies, including Pfizer, Lederle, Ciba-Geigy, Reckitt & Colman, Winthrop, GlaxoSmithKline, Organon, and Boots; Platinum Distribution made a big name in the distribution market.
After gaining valuable knowledge and developing interest in pharmaceuticals, Amin Hirani envisioned a manufacturing and marketing pharmaceutical company with a focus on life where not only would the final product be delivered to its customers, but also manufacturing of life saving drugs would take place. Hence, Amin Hirani laid the foundation to Platinum Pharmaceuticals (Pvt.) Ltd. in 1994 where "Life! We are all about."
Today, Amin Hirani is one of the major shareholders of Platinum Pharmaceuticals (Pvt) Ltd and has quickly made a reputation for quality pharmaceutical and oral healthcare products and now, with over 50 years of invaluable experience, Amin Hirani laid the foundation to Hiranis Pharmaceuticals (Pvt.) Ltd.
